I'm currently making my own travel blog that basically highlights all the wonderful places I've been to. I don't really have a lot of money to travel all the time for pleasure, but I'm lucky enough to have a job that gave me some unexpected travel opportunities.
So far, there is only one out-of-the-country trip that was financed by myself. The rest are thanks to my employer. LOL. I like to travel but I'm not rich. I have a job and doesn't have much time for vacation. I dream big and yet I've seen beyond what I dreamed of. Because of that I named my blog "Lucky Ryokousha" which means "Lucky Traveler", but don't believe me too much because I'm not really good at Nihongo.
<--------- The link is right here, on top of my blog archive. If you can't see it, here you go:

Currently, I have only finished Osaka, and in the process of writing about Kyoto. ^_^

6Mbps Wi-Tribe Fail
I have a prepaid tri-speed wi-tribe dongle that I use for my laptop in Manila. Usually, I just purchase the 512Kbps for facebook and messaging on ipod. But since I did not go home this weekend, I planned to watch streaming videos online. I purchased a 1-day 6Mbps load at 7-11 for the videos to load quickly. To my surprise, it appeared in the "Used Load History" as soon as I purchased it.
How come the 1-day countdown started before the purchase date? LOL
And I have 3 days more at 512 Kbps even though it should have expired 3 days ago. That is weird.
I hope wi-tribe will fix this soon because that 6Mbps internet would just be wasted during weekdays. I already contacted them but so far, all I got is a response about their escalation. :-/ I wonder if they give rewards (something like that) for the inconvenience? That's how it is in the US. But well I'm in the Philippines. hehe
Maybe if I wasn't stuck at 512 Kbps today, I wouldn't be blogging about this. It's because of the damned streaming videos that won't load on such slowwww speed. hahaha it's frustrating..

The Avengers Movie
If you're looking for a good review of the movie, then this is not the site to visit. You better go away because I'm not a good movie critic and definitely not a movie buff. I haven't even seen Titanic. haha. Okay laugh all you want, who cares? =))
I watched the movie last night because my friend invited me, and since I had nothing else to do, I agreed. I think all the cinemas in Eastwood city showed Avengers, and yet all of it were full. We had to watch it at 12am as there's no other available time slot. Aside from my aching feet due to the long lines, I also had to battle with myself as I was about to fall asleep in the middle of the story. I'm not sure if it's just because of the time or the movie just doesn't interest me much. Or maybe I am just getting old that I don't appreciate heroes stuff like before.
To be fair, it was actually enjoyable (but I wish I watched it earlier) because they're funny. Is that a comedy? Hahaha... My favorite character is the incredible hulk because he is green and he bullied Loki. Here are my other thoughts while watching:
* captain america's outfit is fit for costume party, it's funny
* i have to agree with the taxi driver (in real life) who said something about iron man saving the philippines. he can probably redirect the missile to another place if NoKor decided to launch another one in our direction. hehe
* i'm still thinking how the avengers can save us from China claiming spratlys and scarborough shoal. maybe hulk can scare them away? =))
* i don't understand why the black widow is a hero
* Hawkeye is just like Legolas, never runs out of arrows
If anyone got offended with my thoughts, I'm sorry, but don't take it too seriously. You'll get lots of wrinkles if you're too serious. You have to love your skin. If you find it funny, hooray! Laughter is the best medicine :D

just wondering!
What if I use 日本語 in my posts? How would the characters look like in my cursive font?
今度はブログを日本語で書きます。でも、私はちょっと眠いだよ。。。
お休みなさい!
かわいい ^_^
I don't even know if my Nihongo is correct. Haha!
Looks cute :)

4 Seasons Completed!
On the fourth month of 2012, I have officially completed my four seasons experience!
Winter
My first out-of-the-country trip was to U.S., in the winter of 2009-2010. It was a record-breaking winter for Texas since it snowed a lot, and I got the chance to experience throwing snow balls at my friends. haha!
Warning: do not play with snow without hand gloves.
Temperature: really really cold that it burns
Autumn
My second trip was to Tokyo, Japan and it was autumn (to winter) 2010. Another season! How lucky can I get?!? This place is definitely a two thumbs up, and if I had ten thumbs, it would be a ten thumbs up. LOL.
Temperature: cold but bearable

Summer
Next is... summer..
er.. but it's always summer in the Philippines! nyahaha! Not new to me, but I can't say it's not good. This photo was taken in Bolinao, Pangasinan.
Temperature: hotttt and humid (but better than TX summer)
Spring
And finally! Spring time! And yes, I came back to Japan. Where else can I see those beautiful cherry blossoms?
I did not come back to Tokyo, but I visited two other places. Osaka and Kyoto. Kyoto's a must see!! I loved Gion Shirakawa! plus the maikos!!
Temperature: cold especially in arashiyama riverside, but it got warmer on my last day
I feel so blessed to have seen such wonderful things and places.. Thank God for that! Looking forward to more of this in the future!! ^_^
